If you are anything like me, you can’t wait to wear your new clothes. I cut off the tags, wash and dry the item, and don it as fast as possible. Many times it is still warm from the dryer when I put it on. It is okay to be excited about new clothes, but take some time to read the care instructions before you ruin your new purchase.
Otter Things apparel comes in a few different blends. Some are 100% cotton; others are a 50/50 cotton/polyester blend. You can follow the instructions on the garment label, but you will want to account for the printed design too. Luckily, the care for your new digs is simple.
Before washing your new apparel, check for any mistakes in printing. If the design or garment has a defect, I can help you exchange your item. Once it’s washed or worn, that isn’t possible.
If you notice any off-white residue on your garment when you receive it, don’t worry! This is a special solution used for printing and can sometimes leave marks during the drying process. These are not stains and will wash off after the first wash cycle.
If everything looks good, follow the care instructions below:
Every item is made especially for you when you place an order. Your Otter Things apparel and designs will last a lot longer when you care for it properly.
